House wife killed by lightning in Kurigram

One house wife was killed by lightning when she was cutting grass for cow near her house at Putikata village under Chilmari upazila in Kurigram at 9.00 am on Saturday (April 30)..

The deceased was identified as Joshna Begum 35 wife of Habibur Rahman of Putikata village of the upazila..

The member of Thanahat union Parishad of ward no 4 Faizer Rahman said when she was cutting grass suddenly thunder bolt struck and some parts of her body was burnt..

She was immediately taken to Chilmari upazila Health Complex in a critical condition where the attending doctor declared her dead..

Officer-in-charge of Chilmari police station Atikur Rahman ensured the incident.. .
