In public transport crisis, the power of rickshaw-CNG, the fare has skyrocketed

The hartal called by some political parties including BNP Jamaat in the capital is very less traffic. Rickshaw and CNG drivers are taking advantage of this. A different picture appears in different areas of the capital compared to other days. Rickshaws and CNG are more common than vehicles on main roads. .

Occasionally two BRTC buses and some regular buses are seen plying. Where the regular fare by rickshaw from Shahjadpur to Madhya Badda is Tk 30. 60 to 80 taka is being taken there by rickshaw.. .
